Sports rights agency Relevent Sports Group has launched a boutique broadcast and production services company, led by two former Host Broadcast Services executives.
Relevent Media Services is led by Dan Miodownik and Luc-Antoine Charial, who have been named president and CEO, respectively. The pair left HBS at the end of September, where they serves as CEO and COO.

According to Relevent, bringing broadcast production in-house will enable it to “shape how a competition looks, feels, and reaches fans from the moment rights are sold through the final whistle”.
“With Relevent Media Services, Relevent adds end-to-end broadcast production, project management services, multi-platform content creation, and innovative technological integration to its capabilities, resulting in a more diversified, complete platform for existing Relevent partners and potential new clients across global football and other sports,” said Boris Gartner, CEO of Relevent.
Speaking about his new role, Miodownik said: “I’m extremely proud to be joining the team at Relevent and helping new and existing clients and partners maximise their reach and fan engagement. The content landscape has never been more exciting and I look forward to bringing my experience in live production, innovation, digital services, and social media interaction to Relevent Media Services.”
Charial added: “I am delighted to be joining Relevent and look forward to developing its new production arm, while supporting its clients and welcoming new partners in football and beyond. I am eager to bring my experience in business development and broadcast to Relevent Media Services.”
