Ostmodern names former Sky exec as new COO

David Crawford joins OTT and video company

Ostmodern has appointed David Crawford as its new chief operating officer.

Crawford joins the OTT and video specialist to drive strategic growth as the company expands it technology and custom-built solutions portfolio.

He arrives from Camelot Global, where he served as interim chief technology officer, leading the design, delivery and operations of gaming products and solutions for lotteries.

Prior to Camelot, Crawford headed up Sky’s software engineering team, and was responsible for implementing a digital-first programme to ramp up online sales and services.

“I’m excited to be joining Ostmodern at such a key time in the company’s history,” said Crawford. “Ostmodern’s design-led approach to video products makes it one of the most bold and innovative companies to work for, and I’m looking forward to helping it grow.”

Tom Williams, Ostmodern co-founder and CEO, added: “David has a wealth of experience leading teams, developing innovative technologies and driving business growth, and we’re delighted to be working with him to expand Ostmodern’s offering.”
