Midwich acquires HHB Communications

Distributor makes further investment into the broadcast market with acquisition, following purchase of US brands Toolfarm and 76 Media Systems earlier this month

Midwich has announced the acquisition of HHB Communications, a supplier of specialist professional audio equipment, content creation products, and music technology. The details were published in the company’s pre-close trading statement for the six months to 30 June 2023.

Based in London, HHB works with manufacturers such as Rode, Genelec, and Avid working in the broadcasting, media and entertainment market and has supported many notable post production facilities, film, gaming, recording studios, and broadcasters with its products used by the likes of Warner Brothers, BBC, Sky and Pinewood Studios.
