Global Academy keeps a Hawk-Eye on M&E skills gap with unique education partnership

The collaboration aims to provide students with hands-on experience of Hawk-Eye's industry-standard technology

Global Academy and Sony’s Hawk-Eye Innovation have announced a partnership.

Aiming to provide media students with access to industry-standard sports replay technology, the initiative will provide Global Academy’s new Level 3 Sports Media pathway with hands-on experience of the HawkREPLAY and HawkNEST solutions.The pathway is designed for 16-18 year olds with aspirations to work in the sports media and broadcast sectors, addressing skills gaps across the industry.

Located at the academy’s West London media training facility, the collaboration will form the only provision in the country, providing its students with a unique opportunity to learn using the same equipment relied upon by global sporting events and federations.
