Rise Academy will host two special events in London and Manchester this summer to showcase the opportunities available in the media technology industry to young people.
Rise Academy Summer School will take place at dock10 in Salford on 28th-29th July before moving to the London Screen Academy from 31st July-1st August.
Attendees will get hands-on exposure to everything from setting up a live TV studio and OB truck to experimenting with virtual production, graphics, editing, and cloud technology.
The Rise Academy Summer School, supported by Clear-Com, is open to young people aged 16–18 and includes opportunities for industry professionals to volunteer as mentors and support staff. More information is available at the Rise Academy website.
