Post production house Evolutions Bristol is to open a second facility on Whiteladies Road, just one year after opening in the heart of the city’s media district.
The new building will provide additional capacity for the post house, and will predominantly offer offline suites, but has capacity to develop further. There will be 10 fully equipped Avid cutting rooms at the new address, which will be connected to Evolutions Bristol’s first building, located on the same road. A private dark fibre network connecting the two buildings.
Over half a million pounds has been invested in the new building, which features state of the art tapeless technology and the latest equipment. Keys to the new building were handed over on 27 August and the building will be fully operational by the last week in September.
Simon Kanjee, managing director, Evolutions said: “We are delighted to be opening a second building. Evolutions Bristol is doing better than we could have ever expected and has meant that we now must open a second site to accommodate that growing demand. Our investment in creative talent and facilities here is testament to how much we believe in the market in the South West. We have a strong commitment to the region and are proud to be employing more local staff and growing the talent pool in the area. Bristol is a great place to be and we look forward to expanding further in the future.”
