In a further extension of its long-term collaboration, broadcast services company DutchView has selected Sennheiser to replace its entire complement of wireless microphones. The upgrade involves a total of around 84 channels for wireless microphones and in-ear monitoring systems.
The decision to enlist Sennheiser to provide equipment, support and frequency-planning guidance for this major project was the result of an extensive tendering process. The new systems will allow DutchView to prepare for forthcoming changes in the wireless spectrum map.
Sennheiser Benelux MD Hans Kortenhorst described DutchView as “one of the key broadcasting facilitators” for the Dutch TV and studio market, adding: “A partner like this – with a unique and important outlook on the entire Dutch pro-audio industry – makes the perfect reference point for both our brand and our company more generally, as another ambitious player in the market.”
Georgette Schlick, CEO of DutchView, added: “Due to expected changes in the RF spectrum, free space for wireless microphone systems will decrease significantly. This makes investment necessary. Thanks to Sennheiser’s investment and technology, DutchView will be prepared for the future and this will allow us to continue being a reliable and professional partner to our clients.”
