Curzon Home Cinema relaunched

Curzon Cinema is undertaking a relaunch of its Curzon Home Cinema video on demand service

Curzon Cinema is undertaking a relaunch of its Curzon Home Cinema video on demand service with the aim of giving viewers access to the best, thought-provoking cinema. The company promises the new service will showcase more content, enable cross-device film viewing and give customers a more cinema-like, home viewing experience.

Available on BT Vision, Freesat and Samsung Smart TVs, the vod service provides customers at home with independent productions, offering a selection of award-winning, thought-provoking films made available, where possible, on the same day as their cinema release.

The new Curzon Home Cinema site features curated seasons, cast and crew bios, extra features, online festivals and a selection of classic and contemporary films. Time-shift functionality and the ability to watch films through a range of devices are also available.

“Consumers and their engagement with content is changing and Curzon, using its home cinema experience, is meeting these ever changing demands,” commented director of Curzon Home Cinema, Phil Mordecai. “The launch of the new Curzon Home Cinema online video service in combination with the recent launch of the latest Freesat app illustrates our unprecedented support for this growing sector.”

Curzon Home Cinema is a non-subscription based service. Following on from launches on BT TV and Samsung Smart TV, Freesat is the latest platform to host Curzon Home Cinema as part of the service’s growth plans.
