BTS now an independent systems integrator

The former business system integration division of Grass Valley has been transferred to the newly established BTS broadcast technology solutions in Weiterstadt, Germany, which belongs to the Parter Capital Group.

The former business system integration division of Grass Valley has been transferred to the newly established BTS broadcast technology solutions in Weiterstadt, Germany, which belongs to the Parter Capital Group. In cooperation with Thomson Broadcast, BTS will add the systems integration business to the group’s commitment to the broadcast industry. BTS will continue the tradition of its predecessors and offer high quality turnkey solutions for the broadcast industry as a vendor-independent systems integrator. The new BTS is based on the GV business division System Integration. It assumed ownership of its assets and resources and a team of highly qualified system engineers on 1 August 2012 from Grass Valley. “We provide high-quality solutions for the broadcast industry worldwide. By selecting the respective best-in-class products and technologies from various manufacturers, we deliver the best overall systems for our customers – in the areas of live, news and play-out, broadcasting in and outside the studio”, said Ewald Fehlauer, managing director of BTS broadcast technology solutions, Weiterstadt. “In order to constantly increase productivity and flexibility of the systems for our customers, we are investing in innovative workflow solutions and in the latest broadcast and IT technology,” added Fehlauer. www.bts-broadcast.com
