BT again tops list of pay-TV complaints

Number of complaints about the service rose in Q4 of 2017

BT has again topped the list of complaints about pay-TV providers made to Ofcom.

The service has had more complaints than its rivals in every Ofcom report since mid-2015.

According to new data from Ofcom BT received 18 complaints per 100,000 customers during Q4 of 2017; up significantly compared to the 14 from Q3.

TalkTalk was second on the list, receiving 10 complaints per 100,000 customers, while Virgin Media received nine. Ofcom said both companies received above the industry average figures.

Sky fared best, with just two complaints per 100,000 customers.
