Technology company AEQ has announced the appointment of Iván Olmeda as its new CEO.
He takes over from Rogelio de la Fuente, who has led AEQ for the last 35 years.
Olmeda previously led AEQ’s business development division, have joined the company in 2014 following the acquisition of Kroma Telecom.
Speaking of his appointment, Olmeda said: ‘It is an honour for me to be in charge of this company, a true point of reference in the broadcast market and international sporting events. After four years as part of this company, it is clear to me that AEQ is built on great human and technological potential.
“In recent years we have made an important leap towards IP technology, which positions us in a strategic place to give the best service to our customers.”
