A+E Networks UK is continuing the expansion of its factual entertainment channel HISTORY in the Baltics, following a deal with Latvian cable platform Baltcom. HISTORY is now available on Baltcom’s Social, Basic, Extended and Thematic packages, which give viewers the opportunity to access a wide range of shows.
“We are very excited about this launch, as expanding the reach of HISTORY to new audiences in Eastern Europe is a continuing priority for us,” said Bakori Davis, VP of commercial operations, A+E Networks UK. “We believe that our channel will add tremendous value to our affiliates’ offering and we are very pleased to be working with Baltcom on delivering great content to viewers in Latvia.’’

HISTORY first launched in Latvia in 2010 and is available in over 160 countries to more than 330 million TV households.
