TVU Networks claims new industry standard of 0.3 seconds latency

TVU's Inverse Statmux technology is engineered to excel in challenging transmission environments, including crowded stadiums, remote locations, or areas with limited network infrastructure

TVU Networks says it has taken a “major step forward” in video latency after achieving a lag time of 0.3 seconds with its new Inverse Statmux (ISX) (Statistical Multiplexing) technology.

According to the company, ISX is engineered to excel in challenging transmission environments, including crowded stadiums, remote locations, or areas with limited network infrastructure.

Through its advanced algorithms and intelligent adaptive techniques, ISX dynamically adjusts to network conditions, mitigating packet loss and optimising bandwidth usage, which in turn ensures a seamless and uninterrupted viewing experience for audiences worldwide, said TVU.

Key features and benefits include ultra-low latency, stability, adaptive bandwidth management, backward compatibility, added the company.

“We are thrilled to introduce ISX, the next generation of our Inverse Statmux technology,” said Paul Shen, CEO of TVU Networks. “ISX is more than just a technological advancement; it’s a game-changer that aligns perfectly with our mission to empower broadcasters with immediate and reliable content delivery.”
