The VMC-102 from Japanese manufacturer Tac System is to be launched at BVE as one of several new products on the Aspen Media stand.

VMC-102 is a multi-stem and 32 monitor-bus monitoring system for consoles and workstations mixing for Dolby Atmos or MPEG-H. It also provides the opportunity for those wishing to graduate to multi-stem mixing in 5.1.

Another UK first, is SloMo Mini from JLCooper. Designed to be compact, SloMo Mini can control up to four video players using RS-422 9-pin protocol. It includes a professional quality T-bar for SloMo speed and shuttle control, transport controls and jog wheel and a keypad for cue entry.

Also on stand is the handheld MADI.MONI MADI line checker, being introduced by MADI specialist DirectOut. Intended for engineers working in a MADI environment, such as OBs, touring or live broadcast. MADI.MONI includes an onboard headphone jack allowing any mono or stereo pair of the 64 MADI channels to be monitored. A 12 LED traffic light system indicates the status of the MADI connection itself.

DirectOut is also showing MONTONE.42, a MADI to RAVENNA bridge, MADI.BRIDGE, an 8×8 MADI router and switcher, its ANDIAMO series of MADI to analogue, AES and mic converters and several more MADI problem solvers from its comprehensive MADI range.
