TAG Video Systems and Zixi have announced a joint solution enabling livestream monitoring for all transport level layers across any IP network.
The joint solution leverages Zixi’s Zen Master live video orchestration and telemetry control plane enabling single interface source feed into the TAG MV layouts with those mosaics sent to desired targets. Extensive alerting capabilities can be set for individual channels or groups of channels, combined with event notification, ensuring broadcast quality video is maintained throughout the workflow, the companies stated.
Direct access to the Zixi stream enables TAG to measure underlying impairments. The all IP-software-based solution lets broadcasters take a proactive approach with transport issues. Input stream support allows Zixi feeds to be received, monitored, and displayed directly by the TAG system, and output stream support allows TAG mosaic outputs to also leverage Zixi protocol when feeding remote operator displays.
