Red Bee Media appoints new CEO

James Arnold steps up from his role as chief commercial officer, and has been tasked with leading the company's next phase of growth

James Arnold has been announced as the new chief executive office of Red Bee Media, taking over from Steve Nylund who is moving back to the United States.

“James was there from the very beginning of Red Bee Media and is the right leader to take the business to the next level,” said Åsa Tamsons, Ericsson SVP, business area technologies and new businesses, and Red Bee Media chairperson.

“The media landscape is changing faster than ever, and broadcasters and content providers of all types need to deliver groundbreaking services to consumers while minimising costs and risk. James has unrivalled experience leading customer centric teams to deliver great results. I’m looking forward to working with him as he drives Red Bee Media through its next exciting phase.”
