Channel 4 still suffering issues following Red Bee Media fire

Some viewers were unable to watch e4 last night as the channel went off air

Viewers watching Channel 4 and e4 are still experiencing problems with subtitles and channel outages following Saturday’s fire alarm at Red Bee Media’s Broadcast Centre.

Last night (29th September) some viewers watching Married at First Sight on e4 were met with a purple screen and a message stating the channel was off air.

The broadcaster has previously said both Channel 4 and its streaming service All4 have been dealing with on-going problems since the incident at the weekend.

On Tuesday night, viewers took to social media to complain about sound issues with The Great British Bake Off.

Red Bee released a new statement yesterday, before the issues with e4.

It said the company continues to work “day and night” with its customers and partners to resolve the issues caused by the incident in the West London Broadcast Centre on Saturday evening.

“We are sorry for any ongoing issues viewers are experiencing with any of the services we provide on behalf of our customers. The investigation into the cause is still ongoing,” added the statement.
