Virtual Instruments has completed the acquisition of SaaS-based Cloud cost, optimisation and monitoring service provider Metricly.
The acquisition is said to enable Virtual Instruments to expand its Cloud migration, monitoring and analytics portfolio to offer customers SaaS-based, hybrid infrastructure management across multi-Cloud environments.
Metricly’s platform provides tools to help customers optimise their Cloud workloads, services and resources. Its Cloud-native monitoring, workload analysis, resizing and AWS cost optimisation solutions will integrate with Virtual Instruments’ VirtualWisdom hybrid infrastructure monitoring and AIOps platform.
Virtual Instruments CEO Philippe Vincent said: “Executing successful Cloud initiatives is a challenge for every enterprise, no matter their size or depth of resources. In addition, migrating legacy applications to the Cloud is a major undertaking for most enterprises, and they must answer crucial questions before doing so.
“Through our acquisition of Metricly, we’re providing our customers with the end-to-end monitoring solutions and deep Cloud migration expertise they need to accelerate their journey to the Cloud.”
