
Streaming services dominated the awards for TV series at last night’s Golden Globe Awards.
Hulu, Amazon and Netflix all won key honours at the event in Los Angeles.
It was the first time SVoD platforms won both Best Drama series and Best Comedy.
Hulu won its first Golden Globes, picking up the award for drama series for The Handmaid’s Tale and best actress for the show’s star and producer Elisabeth Moss.
Amazon’s collected best comedy series for The Amazing Mrs Maisel with the show’s star Rachel Brosnahan also winning best actress.
Netflix’s Master of None star Aziz Ansari took home the award for best comedy actor.
HBO led the TV categories with four wins, all for Big Little Lies.
