German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has brought its OTT service Sky Online to the Sony PlayStation 4.

Arrival on the PlayStation 3 will follow shortly, which will see Sky expand its availability to almost all devices.

It was already available via iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones and tablets, Windows 10 Mobile, Xbox One and multiple smart TV sets.

Sky Online, launched in October 2014, provides access to Sky’s channels without long-term contractual obligation, without the need for cable, satellite or IPTV. It can be installed directly from the PlayStation Store, with daily and monthly passes available via the Sky Online website.

The app can be installed on the console directly from the PlayStation store while the month or day passes can be signed up for on the Sky Online website.

It offers two one-month tickets, Entertainment (€9.99) and Cinema (€14.99), with one-day tickets for Sky Supersport offering access to the Sky football Bundesliga and Sky Sport channels, priced at €14.99.
