Telecom Italia (TIM) and Mediaset have announced the availability of Mediaset programming on-demand via the TIMvision platform.
A year on from striking a content and distribution deal, the two companies have made Mediaset’s Canale5, Italia1, Retequattro, La5, TGCom24, Mediaset Extra, 20, Iris, Italia2, Top Crime and Focus content accessible to TIMvision subscribers on mobile devices, smart TVs and compatible game consoles.
Subscribers with the TIM Box decoder will also be able to pause, rewind and restart programmes, with access to Mediaset programming from the previous seven days.
In addition, TIMvision customers will have the ability to view Mediaset’s free-to-air sport content, including a selected Champions League game on Wednesday nights starting in September.
