LaLigaTV launches on Premier Sports’ streaming service

Channel will also launch on Sky 'in the coming months'

LaLiga has launched its English-language TV channel on Premier Sports’ streaming service, Premier Player, in the UK and Ireland.

It means LaLiga is the first football league to have a 24/7 dedicated channel in either the UK or Ireland carrying all live games via major TV platforms. The league also revealed LaLigaTV is set to debut on Sky TV’s platform during the coming months.

Fans can choose to subscribe to the full Premier Sports package or LaLigaTV as a standalone service. In addition, Premier Sports will continue to broadcast one live LaLiga match per round via its free-to-air channel FreeSports.

Melcior Soler, audiovisual director at LaLiga, said: “We’re pleased to be entering the next phase of our strategic broadcast agreement with Premier Sports. For both casual and devoted fans of Spanish football, LaLigaTV offers the best quality programming, with household names providing expert commentary and analysis, as well as all available live matches in full HD.”
