Former Channel 4 chief creative officer Jay Hunt is joining Apple as their new creative director for Europe.
She will start in January and be part of the international content development team reporting to Apple video chiefs Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg.
Hunt stepped down from her position at Channel 4 last month.
Over the course of her career, she’s developed multiple scripted TV series, including Luther, Sherlock, Humans, Black Mirror and Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams.
She also developed several unscripted series — such as Gogglebox, First Dates, The Island and Hunted — that have successfully sold to multiple territories.
She was also said to have been instrumental in Channel 4 poaching The Great British Bake Off from the BBC.
