PixStor arrives on Google Cloud Platform Marketplace

PixStor lets users expand on-premise render pipelines into Google Cloud

Pixit Media has made its storage and data management platform PixStor available on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Marketplace.

GCP Marketplace lets users quickly deploy functional software packages, allowing them to use PixStor to expand on-premise render pipelines into Google Cloud.

Every PixStor installation on GCP features Ngenea, Pixit Media’s flagship data transport mechanism. Ngenea allows the automatic transfer of only the data that is needed between on-premise and the Cloud.

Pixit Media co-founder and CIO Barry Evans said: “PixStor’s availability on GCP Marketplace gives our clients an easy way to expand computational resources on demand and with confidence, so that they can maintain agility and their competitive edge.

“Combining all the power of PixStor on-premise with Google Cloud ensures one of the fastest possible project completion times, at the lowest possible instance cost.”
