Winners announced at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards

The awards recognise the best programmes and behind-the-scenes talent of 2024

BAFTA has announced the winners of its Television Craft Awards.

Celebrating the achievements of behind-the-scenes talent, the 2025 BAFTA Television Craft Awards were presented at a ceremony hosted by Stacey Dooley at The Brewery London on the evening of Sunday 27th April.

The award for Director: Multi-Camera, was presented to Janet Fraser Crook for her work on Glastonbury 2024.

Taskmaster’s Andy Devonshire, Rebecca Bowker, James Dillon and Dru Masters took the BAFTA for Entertainment Craft Team.

The Sound: Fiction category was won by Andrew Sissons, Martin Jensen, Joe Beal, Alex Ellerington, Duncan Price and Abbie Shaw for Slow Horses, with Robert Frost also being recognised for episode 1 of the show with the award for Editing: Fiction

Director of photography Jaber Badwan won the Emerging Talent: Factual award for Kill Zone: Inside Gaza, while first-time winner Sarah Keeling won Editing: Factual for Life and Death in Gaza (Storyville).

Previous BAFTA recipient Marcel Mettelsiefen took Photography: Factual for State of Rage and the award for Photography & Lighting: Fiction went to Christopher Ross for Shōgun.

Sound: Factual was won by Brian Moseley, Angela Groves, Paul Fisher, Chris Watson and Ioannis Spanos for Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough.

The Television Craft Special Award went to Eastenders with head of genre Kate Oates and executive producer Ben Wadey accepting the BAFTA for the show which celebrated 40 years on screen this year.
