Vitec Group brands Vinten and Vinten Radamec will be displaying their range of camera support units at BVE. Vinten’s showcase will include a selection from its Vision range that highlights the unique benefits of its lightweight heads and systems.

Designed to support cameras and camcorders weighing between 2.0 – 33kg, the Vision range features an adjustable Perfect Balance, providing consistent movement and easy positioning of the camera at any angle, to its LF and TF drag technology that offers complete control of the camera at any level of movement.

Vinten’s Vision blue pan and tilt head and tripod system will also be on display. It brings cost-effective and uncompromised professional performance to the lightest of camcorders, and has enjoyed soaring sales and positive reviews from global broadcasters since its launch in 2010.

Also on show will be the Vector 430, which bridges the gap between Vinten’s Vision and Vector ranges and is ideal for the growing number of applications which use both compact box lens and large EFP barrel lenses. This will all be demoed alongside the Osprey Elite, a versatile pedestal that supports the latest range of digital, portable and full facility cameras.

In addition, Vinten Radamec will showcase its new Fusion FHR-35 remote pan and tilt head for the first time in the UK at BVE. The pan and tilt head, successfully launched at IBC2011, is said to represent a major step forward in camera robotics and incorporates Vinten Radamec’s new Intelligent Control Engineering (ICE) platform. This new technology enables operators to achieve unprecedented control and accuracy in an innovative and highly compact form. In addition to moving under robotic control, the FHR-35 also provides precise reporting back to the controller, together with zoom and focus from a digital lens. The FHR-35 is the first Vinten Radamec product to incorporate ICE and is suitable for a broad range of applications from legislatures to studios.

Also on show at BVE 2012 will be a range of Vinten Radamec’s innovative control systems, covering the full spectrum of applications. The Fusion FCS-16 compact controller will be shown running the latest VRC control system software. This compact solution has a built-in touchscreen and is compatible with the full range of Fusion robotic camera supports. The FCS-16 is ideally combined with the new FHR-35 to create a cost-effective robotic camera support solution.

Karen Walker, commercial manager, Vinten Radamec, said: “This will be an exciting event for Vinten Radamec as we will be demonstrating this major advancement in engineering solutions for the first time at a UK broadcast exhibition. BVE 2012 gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase the FHR-35 and our innovative new ICE technology. Visitors will be able to see for themselves how this first of its kind product allows operators to achieve such an unprecedented level of control and accuracy.”
