Dubai’s Ten Sports is set to deploy Beehive Systems’ WASP3D enterprise solution in Ten Sports transmission suites through its channel partner Wecom Global. The deal gives WASP3D a new foothold in the Middle Eastern market with clients like Al Rai TV and Future TV already in its portfolio, writes Fergal Ringrose.

“We went through a rigorous exercise of selecting the right solution that matched our standards and workflow requirements; it was only after a thorough evaluation and detailed comparison of competing solutions that we chose WASP3D,” said Steve Halis, vice president – operations, engineering & MIS, Taj Television.

WASP3D is advanced 3D Graphics software equipped with design tools such as a realtime emitter-based particle system that comes with wind, gravity, speed options and helps achieving realistic effects. The WASP3D solution for sports broadcasting includes features such as realtime sports data presentation, spectacular interactive graphics display, 3D camera views of the game from various angles and virtual sets.

Deependra Rathi, regional business manager North America & MEA, Beehive Systems commented: “We are excited about our association with Ten Sports and are looking forward to take this relationship to newer heights by providing cutting-edge technology solutions backed by superior services and support.”
