Welcome to Fast Turnaround TV, which replaces our Sports Broadcast Europe enewsletter and expands TVBEurope’s coverage of the live and as-live TV sector from a sole focus on sports to encompass large-scale productions across music, entertainment and news – ahead of our upcoming Fast Turnaround TV conference in London, 13 March 2012, writes Fergal Ringrose.
We are currently working with numerous broadcasters and vendors on confirming content for the conference; EVS has already committed, for example, to having one of its recent flagship partnerships (possibly Sky News, Sky Arabia or BBC Sports) as one of the case studies for the event.
Both the conference and the newsletter will be looking at the latest technology innovations that boost coverage and retain eyeballs on a big live show – with all the potential for sheer chaos across the production.
