Signiant boosts workflows with Camera-to-Any-Cloud

The solution enables immediate, accelerated file transfers while recording, allowing simultaneous delivery of camera RAW files and metadata to multiple locations

Signiant has announced the launch of its Camera-to-Any-Cloud workflow.

The solution enables immediate accelerated file transfers while recording, said the company, enabling simultaneous secure and efficient delivery of camera RAW files and metadata to multiple locations. A live demonstration of real-time media transfers from a Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K camera will take place at NAB Show 2025.

As footage is captured, the Signiant Platform transfers the file to both an on-set storage location and a chosen cloud endpoint. The files can be instantly accessed in the cloud within Signiant Media Engine, where proxyless playback enables viewing of the original 4, 8, 9, or 12K RAW file directly in a standard web browser. There is no requirement for transcoding or specialised tools, said the company.

Additionally, Signiant Media Engine provides metadata search facilities, enabling assets to be located based on camera-generated technical and customer metadata. Users can download, send or take action using customisable Action Buttons, designed to streamline post production workflows and enhance decision-making.

“We are excited to showcase our Camera-to-Any-Cloud workflow at NAB Show 2025,” said Jon Finegold, CMO at Signiant. “This development reflects Signiant’s commitment to solving the real-world challenges of media creation and distribution. We’re excited to demonstrate how our platform empowers content creators with the speed, reliability, and flexibility they need to deliver exceptional results.”
