Italian state broadcaster RAI has chosen Rotolight’s AEOS kits for a variety of applications both in the studio and out.
The new deal joins Rotolight’s existing collection of Anova PROs, AEOS two-light kits and NEO 2 three-light kits, totalling 225 lights overall, that are being utilised by RAI. It marks Rotolight’s third deal with RAI in 18 months.
Rotolight offers RAI a range features to enhance creativity on set including AccuColour technology for colour reproduction (CRI 96, TLCI 91) which reduces time in post-production. For drama and film production, the Rotolight range comes equipped with CineSFX; a suite of built-in, customisable lighting FX (fire, lightning, TV, etc.).
“We are delighted to win this third tender from RAI, with Rotolight now forming an integral part of their lighting kit for live broadcast, drama and documentary shooting. With this latest order, RAI continue to see the unique combination of industry-first features, build quality and value that Rotolight offers, with our entire product range now being used globally.” said Rod Aaron Gammons, managing director of Rotolight.
