Pebble Beach launches Marina Lite

Content management and channel specialist Pebble Beach Systems, has launched Marina Lite.

Content management and channel specialist Pebble Beach Systems, has launched Marina Lite, an automation solution which is optimised for small scale systems of up to four channels.

Based on the company’s Marina automation platform, this new solution benefits from Marina’s configurable control layer, and is scalable from one to four channels and from one to four clients. Each configuration is available with fault tolerant options, such as 1+1 redundancy with fully automatic changeover.

“Marina Lite delivers world class automation, at an affordable price,” said managing director Peter Hajittofi. “Developed to meet the needs of the broadcaster with low channel counts, it is based on the proven and resilient 64-bit client-server architecture of our enterprise level Marina automation platform, and is capable of controlling traditional legacy products as well as emerging solutions – such as integrated channel technologies – within video, IT and hybrid infrastructures. One of Marina Lite’s major strengths is its highly intelligent and flexible playlist, which has the ability to control highly reactive channels with frequent late scheduling changes.”

Marina Lite has drivers for over 20 third party devices, and interfaces to many popular traffic systems.

Pebble Beach Systems will also be showing new configurations for the self-contained Stingray channel in a box; DolphinIP integrated channel device; MARLIN pre-render graphics workflow; and Lighthouse monitoring by exception.
