France Télévisions, Euro Media France and Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O) have partnered again to deliver the Paris-Tours cycling race, using a wireless sensor solution to geolocate riders in realtime.
In what was claimed as a world first, wireless broadcasting company Euro Media France, organisers A.S.O and signal distributor France Télévisions equipped the 200 competitors with special sensors at the beginning of the Paris-Tours race in Authon-de-Perche. This enabled Euro Media France’s wireless crews to pinpoint the exact position of every rider and feed the information to its two partner companies.

Director general of A.S.O.
