OASYS launches Chameleon at IBC

OASYS Automated Playout has launched Chameleon, a new product line that consolidates OASYS software into a single configuration for a variety of channel playout requirements.

Premiering at this week’s IBC2013, Chameleon uses proprietary OASYS software and adapts to the broadcast workflow environment in which it is deployed to ensure that operating parameters for that specific environment are configured to their most efficient use. Chameleon’s single integrated playout solution attempts to replace the need to engage with multiple vendors. OASYS servers can be reconfigured and Chameleon can be adapted to fit evolving broadcast workflows.

VP global sales at OASYS, Fraser Jardine said, “Chameleon epitomises our creative approach to product development and our corporate ethos to collaboratively develop playout solutions that readily adapt to and optimise our customers’ workflows rather than force them to conform to ours.”

Fraser added, “Chameleon is the best example yet of the flexibility and value-added strength of our software solution architecture. We believe it is the ideal way to ensure optimal performance and functionality, unique to every facility in which it is installed.”
