TVBEurope’s ITBW conference will this year open with a keynote session, featuring members of the Digital Production Partnership (DPP) and industry players in the production community. ITBW returns to BAFTA on 9 July and includes a packed programme of presentations and case studies from industry leaders.

Two members of the DPP will be part of the keynote session: Kevin Burrows (pictured), DPP Technical Standards lead and CTO Broadcast & Distribution, Channel 4, and Andy Tennant, DPP board member and technology director, Studios, ITV. They will be joined by Mark Bos, production executive, Boundless Productions/Freemantlemedia UK, and Neil Hatton, post production consultant. The panel will be chaired by George Bevir, Facilities and Technology editor, Broadcast.

The discussion will focus on the work of the DPP, and will highlight a number of successes and industry-changing initiatives that have been led by the organisation.

The DPP was founded in January 2011 and aims to speed the transition to fully digital production and distribution in television. The partnership’s work centres around two main categories: technology, and shared thinking, information and best practice.

The panel discussion is part of a full agenda of events at ITBW, details of which can be found online. Delegate places are open for booking, and tickets for ITBW can be booked online.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available through [email protected] or [email protected] on +44 (0) 207 354 6000.
