The BBC’s flagship children’s programme Blue Peter will be filmed at the new Versa Studios Manchester facility starting this autumn.
The show is undergoing what the BBC describes as a “new look and refreshed format”.

It will be recorded in Campfield Facilities at Versa Studios in Manchester, with viewers invited into the creative space to watch the show being filmed.
The upcoming format refresh and new studio will maintain the show’s core elements, “cementing its legendary status, while providing audiences with a dynamic, interactive, and engaging viewing experience,” said the BBC.
The production team and post production remain at MediaCity in Salford, the home of BBC Children’s and Education, added the broadcaster.
Versa Studios Manchester opened its doors in February of this year. Located at the former home of Granada Television close to the Spinningfields area of the city, the refurbished complex provides more than 200,000 square feet of production space.
