With over 200,000 square feet of production space, the studios aim to meet the needs of any production

Versa Studios Manchester has officially opened for business.

Located at the former home of Granada Television close to the Spinningfields area of the city, the refurbished complex provides more than 200,000 square feet of production space. With facilities including virtual reality and augmented reality studios, 4K enabled TV tech galleries joining motion capture, TV and film studios, VERSA aims to cater for the needs of any production, said the company.

Building on the legacy of the birthplace of series including Coronation Street and Brideshead Revisited, Versa Studios Manchester also offers amenities including dressing rooms, green rooms, event areas and a club lounge.

The studios are home to several BBC programmes and have also hosted productions for Sky, Amazon, ITV, Paramount, Netflix and more.

Charlie Ingall, founder and executive director of Versa Studios, commented, “Versa Manchester Studios is built to be the leading destination for television, while also providing a first-class environment for film and creative productions. With world-class facilities, cutting-edge technology, and a location at the heart of the industry, we’re here to support broadcasters, filmmakers, and content creators in bringing their projects to life.”
