BT TV has selected the Accenture Video Solution (AVS) platform to support current and future BT TV offerings.
The software platform supports live streaming and VoD across smartphones, tablets and computers.
BT choose the Accenture solution to enable it to deliver personalised experiences at scale, allowing it to reach a broad audience with multiple video offerings.
“Our customers want access to world class video at any time and on any device they choose, so it is critical that we have a platform in place that keeps them engaged,” said Greg McCall, managing director of television and content at BT.
“With AVS, we have a strategic OTT platform able to rapidly develop and bring new services to market. Importantly, we can scale the platform when we need to, making sure the audience has a seamless viewing experience.
