BBC Studioworks selected for Channel 4 and ITV2 productions

Will deploy 4K studio cameras, gallery control desks and EVS tapeless recording facilities

BBC Studioworks has been chosen to provide full studio and technical services to Channel 4’s The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan and ITV2’s Don’t Hate The Playaz.

The Channel 4 comedy series will employ Studioworks’ 4K studio cameras, gallery control desks and EVS tapeless recording facilities at the company’s 10,800 sq. ft. studio, TC1 at Television Centre.

Weekly shoots across July will see a range of guests participating in games, sketches and performances.

Meanwhile the second series of the ITV2 hip-hop themed panel show will shoot in the company’s 7,500 sq. ft. Elstree 9 studio.

The seven 45-minute episodes will air this autumn, featuring comedians and hip-hop stars performing rap battles and dance-offs in front of a live audience.
