More speakers for this month’s AV and Broadcast Summit have been unveiled.
The event, organised by TVBEurope and sister title Installation, will focus on the growing relationship between AV and broadcast. Tickets are still available.
Taking place in London on 24th June, the AV and Broadcast Summit will bring together practitioners from both sectors to examine shared workflows, technologies and opportunities across key areas including IP, cloud, virtual production, AI and control room design.
Lucy O’Brien, head of technical delivery at Channel 4 News, has joined the panel exploring how control room design is changing, from multi-platform monitoring and IP-based workflows to remote operations, resilience and cybersecurity.
BBC R&D engineer Hell Raymond-Hayling will feature on the virtual production panel to discuss how virtual production tools are being deployed in new environments.
Saturday Night Live UK and Strictly Come Dancing sound supervisor Richard Sillitto will share his experiences in the networking of sound panel.
Other newly confirmed speakers include Matrox Video’s Daniel Robinson, David Mitchinson from Techex, Lawo’s Devin Workman, James Eddershaw from Shotoku UK, NDI’s Miguel Coutinho, Russell Leak from Vizrt and Sony’s Stuart Newton.
They join the previously announced Paul Kane, director of technology, content supply and distribution at ITV, broadcast consultant Purminder Gandhu, virtual production expert Rob Chandler, TattleTV’s Marina Elderton, international production and accessible media standards consultant Andy Quested, Helen Matthews from Futuresource Consulting and Caretta Research’s Robert Ambrose.
