ARRI is launching a new “holistic solutions” group for the global TV and film industry.
ARRI Solutions Group will focus on the design and engineering of customised production infrastructures, including mixed-reality environments, state-of-the-art TV studios, and other solutions.
“ARRI has long since ceased to be solely a hardware manufacturer. Whether consulting, configuration, or turnkey installation, the experts of the ARRI Solutions Group design precisely the solutions our cine and broadcast clients need. Thereby, coordination and good cooperation with companies offering other products and services are also very important to us,” said Stephan Schenk, general manager Global Sales & Solutions at ARRI.
The new Group includes ARRI’s mixed reality, broadcast and remote solutions. The broadcast solutions division includes consulting, planning, visualisation, design, implementation, and training for the cine market.
The new ARRI Remote Solutions team offers a system of networked, remotely controllable ARRI cameras, lights, remote heads, and accessories.
The company has also revealed plans to open a new mixed reality studio in Uxbridge, London later this month which will be used for commercial and demonstration purposes.
