Anton/Bauer takes power outside with EDEN

EDEN aims to provide continuous power when operating in remote locations, and can be recharged using solar power

Anton/Bauer has announced the launch of its EDEN mobile power station.

Designed to meet the demands of professional cinematography, EDEN is a 2.5kWh mobile unit aiming to provide a dependable power supply for outdoor productions and shooting in extreme conditions. Delivering AC and DC power, the dust and waterproof solution integrates with professional equipment including cameras, lights and other devices, and can be recharged in under 4 hours using AC power, reducing delays and down time.

Key features include:

  • 2.5kWh capacity with two AC outlets and four USB-C ports
  • Rapid recharging plus the ability to recharge in the field using solar energy
  • 3.3″ colour LCD screen providing performance data and diagnostics
  • IP65 rating ensuring performance in challenging environments, with silent operation to minimise on-sert noise
  • Daisy-chaining capability enabling linked units to provide sequentially discharged continuous power
  • Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) functionality to protect sensitive equipment

Andrew Hutton, head of product design at Anton/Bauer, said, “Until now, filmmakers had to rely on products designed for recreational use, which often fell short of powering professional-grade cinematography equipment. With EDEN, we’ve created a solution that embodiesAnton/Bauer’s reliability and performance while addressing the specific needs of cinematographers. EDEN’s robust capabilities ensure filmmakers can focus on their craft without power concerns.”
