WSC Sports agrees AI-driven content delivery deal with Movistar Plus+

The collaboration will modernise Movistar's content delivery process across linear, web and social channels, as well as the brand's new OTT platform, Movistar Plus+

WSC Sports has announced a multi-year agreement with Movistar Plus+ aimed at modernising the broadcaster’s content delivery process.

Movistar Plus+ will utilise WSC Sports AI-driven platform to create real-time short form video content for a range of its top-tier sports rights including LALIGA and LALIGA2, UEFA Champions League, Europa and Conference League along with international basketball – Liga ACB, EuroLeague and the NBA, said the company. The broadcaster will also employ the solutions in its coverage of ATP Tour Tennis events and major golf championships.

According to WSC Sports, the collaboration will modernise Movistar’s content delivery process across linear, web and social channels, as well as the brand’s new OTT platform, Movistar Plus+.

WSC Sports chief business development officer, Aviv Arnon, said: “Movistar Plus+ is the undoubted home of premium sports coverage in Spain with the depth and quality of content that WSC Sports’ platform was designed to complement and amplify.
