Big Blue Marble has revealed it is working with the Austrian Parliament to create C2PA Content Credentials for its VoD platform.
The development builds on a longstanding partnership between the organisations, aiming to ensure the Parliament’s digital communications are both secure and trustworthy.
Earlier this year, a separate pilot involving ORF and zerothird debuted the use of quantum cryptography to secure a television transmission between the Parliament and ORF, with quantum keys generated through a dedicated fibre optic connection employed to detect and prevent interference with live streams.
Adding C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) extends this approach, providing traceability to ensure the origin and integrity of published videos. Tackling deepfakes, manipulation and disinformation, the project aims to ensure the Parliament’s digital content is established as a trustworthy official source.

Listed on the official C2PA Conformance List, Big Blue Marble’s Cloud Video Kit serves as the technical foundation for video processing and delivery on the Austrian Parliament’s platform. Certification is fully automated during the publication preparation process, said the company.
