Amazon Web Services has added some new abilities to AWS Elemental MediaLive, its broadcast-grade live video processing service.
Image overlays can now be applied to individual outputs from a MediaLive channel, with custom scaling and placement.
It means users can deliver unique branding or video enhancements per output while operating a single channel, said AWS.
The company has also added custom colour space conversion for live video, with customers utilising custom tone mapping using a 3D LUT (look up table) provided for a specified pair of input and output color spaces
AWS said this enables customers to map the larger colour space gamut in an HDR source to an SDR output.
