Amazon Web Services has announced users of its AWS Elemental MediaLive can now add timecode visually into individual video outputs from a MediaLive channel.
The company said the addition will be useful for testing, monitoring, and compliance, enabling users to separate audience-delivered outputs from outputs with burned-in timecode for technical monitoring.
AWS Elemental MediaLive is the company’s broadcast-grade live video processing service which creates high-quality live video streams for delivery to broadcast televisions and internet-connected multiscreen devices, like connected TVs, tablets, smartphones, and set-top boxes.
