NEP to surpass 500 global projects in February

With two major sporting events taking place, this month will see one of the largest ever deployments for the media services provider

NEP has revealed it will surpass 500 global projects this month.

With two major international sporting events taking place in February, the media services provider has announced it is deploying one of its largest ever numbers of personnel and solutions to support its customers around the world.

Supporting a major winter sports event in Italy, the company is providing a broad range of services and solutions, including OB trucks, production facilities, software-driven solutions, flypacks and speciality capture technology such as robotic, high-frame rate, specialised PoV and RF cameras, along with an international team of engineers and support staff.

The company will also power Super Bowl LX on February 8th, deploying its NEP TFC broadcast orchestration platform to deliver the broadcast. NEP will produce live content spanning more than seven venues across California in support of 14 customers.

At the same time, the company will continue to deliver regional sports broadcasts and league coverage for rights holders around the world, including the PGA TOUR, Major League Soccer, WWE, UFC and the Daytona 500, among others.

Martin Stewart, NEP Group CEO, said, “The demand from the sports production community is there, and we’re able to meet it because of the breadth and depth of our services, our unmatched scale and investment in global resources that we can draw from, and our talented people who deliver these solutions. This year, NEP is celebrating 40 years of innovation, reliability and excellence, and our ability to support this level of activity speaks to the trust our customers place in NEP, which we’re incredibly grateful for.”
