More than 40 in-car cameras for global Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour race broadcast

This year's GT-3 endurance race will be broadcast around the world on YouTube

Supercars Media and EMG/Gravity Media have provided details of their broadcast operations for this year’s Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour motor race.

Marking the 10th year of collaboration between EMG/Gravity and Supercars Media, more than 40 in-car cameras will capture footage of the GT-3 endurance race at the Mount Panorama circuit. Located at strategic points around the track, 24 additional TV cameras will ensure none of the action is missed.

A production crew of more than 100 will have access to high-definition outside broadcast facilities via cellular and cloud-based delivery and some 24 kilometres of broadcast cable.

In addition to coverage on Fox Sports and a number of local networks, the race will be broadcast globally on YouTube through SRO’s GT World platform and a number of international streaming partners. Video and audio feed coverage will also be carried by Radio Show Ltd, the home of Radio Le Mans.

Nathan Prendergast, Supercars Media head of broadcast, said, “It’s fantastic to once again work with EMG/Gravity Media in delivering the broadcast for the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour. Their technology and expertise ensure we can capture all the action and bring this world-class event to life for fans both in Australia and overseas.”

Ben Madgwick, sales director at EMG/Gravity Media Australia, added, “We’re thrilled to once again team up with Supercars Media to deliver world-class broadcast services for Australia’s ultimate endurance race at the iconic Mount Panorama. There’s no better way to kick off the motorsport season than at this legendary event – where drivers push both car and skill to the limit.  We’re bringing cutting-edge broadcast facilities and expertise to make this year’s race even more unforgettable.”

The 2025 Bathurst 12-Hour weekend takes place from 30th January to 2nd February.
