Gravity Media’s new production centre based at White City in London has officially welcomed its client as it works with all-electric motorsport competition Formula E.
The company is working with Formula E and Aurora Media Worldwide as the technical broadcast partner on the competition, which began in Mexico City last month, and saw 86 services and video feeds were delivered back to the Production Centre in White City.
Two bespoke Gravity Media technical pods were built especially for Formula E, with one engineered to house the MCR and all of the technical IP backbone and the other pod housing the audio and comms core as well as the trackside audio supervisor.
Gravity Media’s speciality camera team were also deployed with a total of 50 cameras at the Mexico race, including 26 Sony line cameras and 24 Gravity Media Minicams used for track and team garage shots.
