EVS has announced the creation of a new business division.
Following its recent acquisitions of Telemetrics and XD Motion, EVS is launching a new division, T-Motion, specialising in both indoor and outdoor media production robotics.
Aiming to meet the demands of a new market, T-Motion will offer a comprehensive range of robotics solutions, enabling EVS to enhance live video image capture capabilities, delivering operational reliability and efficiency, said the company.
All of the XD Motion and Telemetrics team members have joined the EVS group.
According to the company, the acquisitions and formation of the new division will deliver strategic benefits including:
- A comprehensive and future-ready portfolio of media production robotics, enabling a new total addressable market scope for EVS
- Integration within the EVS ecosystem, by positioning T-Motion next to LiveCeption, MediaCeption and MediaInfra
- A new generation of AI-based—leveraging EVS’ own AI technologies—integrated tools designed to help customers consistently capture the most compelling live video images whether in the studio or on the field
The integrations were presented at IBC last month, with customer feedback said to be “overwhelmingly positive.”
