Blackmagic has introduced a new family of Thunderbolt capture and playback products.
The three models include UltraStudio Mini Monitor 12G, which can be used for monitoring playback from popular edit software, said the company. Dual 12G-SDI outputs support fill and key for broadcast graphics, automatically converting the alpha channel in graphics to a key output.
The UltraStudio Mini Recorder 12G model captures from 12G-SDI and HDMI, and can be used for live streaming using software such as Open Broadcaster. It can also use it to record from game consoles.
The UltraStudio Mini Replay 12G model supports both 12G-SDI capture and playback, as well as independent 12G-SDI fill and key outputs and a dedicated 12G-SDI monitoring output. It also supports the live action replay features in DaVinci Resolve 20, said Blackmagic.
All three models work in all SD, HD and Ultra HD video standards up to 2160p60, and include fast Thunderbolt 4 with video capture and playback plus power, via a single Thunderbolt cable.
